Interpretation Feature on Zoom for Participants

If you only have one device to connect to the call please follow the instructions below:
When the meeting starts, the host will start the interpretation feature. Participants can select an audio channel to hear their language of choice. Participants will hear the translated audio and can choose if they want to hear the original audio at a lower volume.
In your meeting controls, click the Interpretation feature which has the globe icon.
Click the language that you would like to hear.
In your meeting controls, tap ... More.
Tap Language Interpretation.
Tap the language you would like to hear.
Click Done.
If you will be using two devices, one should be a computer and one should be a smartphone. From your computer you should choose your preferred language in which you will listen and speak. From your smartphone you should disable the interpretation feature by selecting off in order to listen to the original audio at your preferred volume.
The goal of this setup is to ensure that the nuances of the presentation in the original audio is still clear even when listening to your preferred language by regulating the volume of each device.
Here are the instructions to setup each device:
Click Mute Original Audio and you will only hear the interpreted language.
Zoom provides free Toll numbers to dial into meetings for you to join via your phone. Below are the numbers for the different regions:
Dial the toll free number of the country you are calling from
You will be prompted to enter your unique participant ID. This only applies if you have joined on the computer or mobile device or are a panelist in a webinar. Press # to skip. You will be prompted to press # to wait if you are a participant.
When you speak, remove the earpiece connected to the smartphone, if not you will hear yourself twice.
In your meeting controls, click the Interpretation feature which has the globe icon.
Click the language that you would like to hear.
You will be prompted to enter the meeting ID - the nine (9), ten (10), or eleven (11) digit ID provided to you by the host, followed by #.
